The McKinney Community Band Flute Choir, under the direction of Carlos Chipps, was founded in 2009.  Since then, the flute choir has played at various events throughout the area, including:

• Concerts at the McKinney Performing Arts Center
• Various holiday festivals and events
• Weddings
• Recital at Country Lane Retirement Center
• Joint performance with the McKinney Dance Band
• City of McKinney events

We are an adult flute choir formed to promote the enjoyment of flute ensemble playing and to develop skills. The ensemble includes several members of the flute family (piccolo, C flute, alto flute and bass flute).

Our repertoire ranges from classical to pop to jazz, and can be tailored to fit different functions, such as weddings, church events, small banquets, etc.
